Blonde Bombshell

Here’s Emma Stone sporting her naturally blonde locks for Spider-Man. We’ve seen her as a blonde before, but this transition doesn’t seem to be as smooth (Maybe it only looks good on her in curls?). And what I said about the fantasy being ruined, that was obviously an overstatement. But I want to say what every man is thinking, “Soooooooo when are you going back to red?”

Some multi-fan, according to the video’s title made this montage of people dancing from some of our favorite shows and movies including Community, Modern Family, Harry Potter, Little Miss Sunshine, and even Fringe.  But instead of our default “Footloose” soundtrack that most people use for movie dancing montages, this person decided to use Flo-rida’s “Club Can’t Handle Me.”  I can’t fully support this decision.

‘The King’s Speech’ Gets The Poster It Deserves

The King’s Speech starring Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter, Derek Jacobi has made a lot of buzz for itself. Despite the Weinstein Company having to fight its NC-17 rating appealed, the movie looks like it will be an Oscar contender from the predictions. However, the initial promotion poster for the movie was horrendous. Luckily, some artist took another go at it.

More Pirates?
“It’s okay to stop, y’know.” Disney Planning ‘Pirates’ 5 & 6 “It’s okay to stop, y’know.” Disney Planning ‘Pirates’ 5 & 6

HitFix is reporting that Disney has plans to make a fifth and sixth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The rumor is in its early stage and its mostly from some whispers on the ‘Stranger Tides’ set. Apparently, Disney doesn’t know when to stop beating a dead horse.

So ‘The Walking Dead’ Didn’t Fire Its Entire Writing Staff? So ‘The Walking Dead’ Didn’t Fire Its Entire Writing Staff?

Robert Kirkman, The Walking Dead comic book author and executive producer of the show, wanted to clear up what all those headline-y headlines were about when everyone said that Frank Darabont fired the whole writing staff of the zombie series. Although, he doesn’t mention any writers except Chic Eglee and assures us that this issue will not affect the quality of the show.

Mad Men Actress, Abigail Spencer, Signs On To ‘This Means War’ Mad Men Actress, Abigail Spencer, Signs On To ‘This Means War’

Abigail Spencer, who played the hot schoolteacher in the third season of Mad Men, is signing up for This Means War. It’s an action-comedy about spies who are vying for the affection of Reese Witherspoon. From what I’ve read about it, it sounds like it will be like a Mr. and Mrs. Smith love triangle.

Why the hell not? The Michael Bay-Directed Victoria’s Secret Ad Why the hell not? The Michael Bay-Directed Victoria’s Secret Ad

When I draw a blank, I usually default to the nearest available viral video of hot girls looking sexy.  This Victoria’s Secret Holiday commercial could not have come at a more opportune time.  If there’s anything that Michael Bay does very well, it’s knowing how to pander to the inner 13-year old boy in all of us.  Now let’s all make sure the door is closed.

Cross-Genre Action

As a kid who was no stranger to action figures, it wasn’t uncommon to see me on the living room floor, staging epic battles between Ninja Turtles, G.I. Joe’s, Transformers, and a backpack-full of characters that didn’t belong together. And now, it seems, filmmakers are doing the same with movies.

Bill Carter, author of ‘The War for Late Night’, Talks About The Future of the Current Format

Bill Carter, who recently wrote a book about the Conan/Leno debacle recently met up with TV Squad to talk about his book and where the late night television format is headed. Late night talk shows, in general, are in a decline, which makes sense because the format hasn’t been changed for a very long time.

We know this won’t ever happen, especially since he’s trying really hard to promote the sequel to this film. But Nicolas Cage, in recent interviews, has been going great lengths to let us know that Ghostrider 2 will be nothing like the first Ghostrider. Maybe if this one makes enough money, he’ll be out of debt and he’ll get to buy more expensive ornaments for his tomb.

It’s almost unfair the amount of attention Diddy gets. All he has to do is take to twitter to complain about life, and BAM, it becomes entertainment news. Lately, he’s been trying to rally his followers to get him on SNL to do a skit with Robert DeNiro.

Pasty-skinned actor, Paul Dano, has just been cast in the sci-fi thriller, Looper. You may remember him in films like There Will Be Blood or as a Nietszche-lover in Little Miss Sunshine. I remember him fondly as the dude in The Girl Next Door who has a condom put on him by pornstars in a sex-ed video.

Gangster Squad is a 1940-50s flick about a militia made up of mercenary cops who take the law into their own hands to drive out a local gangster. Ben Affleck was once in the running to direct as a follow-up to his well-received bank heist film, The Town. Now it has an official director, Zombieland’s Ruben Fleischer.

Seriously?
Check Out This Movie Poster for ‘Gun’. You Can Start Laughing Now.

For lack of interesting news today, I bring to you this movie poster for Gun, featuring 50 Cent and Val Kilmer. Despite having an absolutely terrible title, there was actually someone who photoshopped or illustrated this and some marketing director approved it. It looks like a whole night’s worth of bad decisions. With respect to Fiddy and Val, it’s difficult to decide which one is more ridiculous.

And much like Black Swan, the movie will feature actors that we like. Chloe Moretz, Jackie Earle Haley, and Bailee Madison will be joining the cast of ballet dramedy, Dance of The Mirlitons, with Kristen Bell already signed on. So instead of Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, and Vincent Cassell, we get Hit Girl, Rorschach, some girl I’ve never seen before, and finally, Veronica Mars as a MILF.

‘American Pie 4′ Is Happening and You Can’t Do Anything To Stop It ‘American Pie 4′ Is Happening and You Can’t Do Anything To Stop It

Someone is convinced that there’s a market for another American Pie sequel, even though its original audience has all grown up and have become adults. If there’s any sliver of hope for this movie, it’s that Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg (Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle) want to write and direct it.
